US/China poised to delay tariffs: ASX set to open flat

11 Dec 2019 - Following a lacklustre day yesterday from the US markets, the ASX looks set to open flat this morning. It’s been reported that US and China are planning on delaying the next round of tariffs set for Sunday. The Flight Centre Travel Group (ASX:FLT) has expanded its global leadership team to increase the focus on leisure and corporate travel growth.

Cochlear (ASX:COH) appoint former CEO Fisher & Paykel to the board: ASX closed 0.3% lower

10 Dec 2019 - It has been a rollercoaster day of trade for the ASX. The local bourse managed to close 0.3% lower. Companies to lose the most ground were Avita Medical (ASX:AVH), Metcash (ASX:MTS) and Perenti Global (ASX:PRN). Cochlear (ASX:COH) today announced the appointment of Michael Daniell to the board - former Managing Director and CEO of Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Corporation.

Aerometrex flies high following IPO: ASX tracking flat at midday

10 Dec 2019 - The ASX has been on a bit of a rollercoaster ride this morning and is now riding flat at just 0.01% lower at noon. Shares in The A2 Milk company (ASX:A2M) rose today after yesterday’s news that CEO Jayne Hrdlicka is set to leave. Shares on the decline are the Lendlease Group (ASX:LLC), and Avita Medical (ASX:AVH). Midway (ASX:MWY) has successfully negotiated its first export price contract.
