21 Mar 2022 - Global major indexes capped off the week on a positive note, as continued geopolitical tensions was offset by optimism amid the world’s largest economies. Investors kept a close eye on a meeting between President Biden and Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping after Biden warned China that the world’s second largest economy would face consequences if aid was given to Russia. Oil rose back above US$100 per barrel.

Wall St extends relief-rally, Oil prices surge, BoE hikes rate: ASX to rise

18 Mar 2022 - Wall St's relief rally continues buoyed on news that Russian bond payments were processed by JP Morgan to Citi. The Kremlin downplayed that peace talks were progressing, sending oil prices higher. The Bank of England raised its interest rate to 0.75%. Asian shares continued to rebound strongly amid Beijing’s support for equity markets.

Venice Energy to develop world’s first LNG import facility powered by renewable energy

17 Mar 2022 - Managing Director Kym Winter-Dewhirst talks about Venice Energy's plans to develop the world’s first LNG import facility entirely powered by renewable energy. The LNG Import and Storage terminal will be located at Outer Harbor, around 14km from Adelaide, and has been designated as “essential infrastructure” by the South Australian State Government.
