US-China trade deal hits another barrier: Aus shares set to open higher

14 Nov 2019 - Australian shares are set to open higher following positive leads from Wall Street. US stocks advanced overnight, plateauing just under all-time highs as the US-China trade war reportedly hits another barrier – this time over farm purchases. Oil rose 46 cents overnight. Heartland Bank and Turners Automotive Group (ASX:TRA) have struck a deal that will allow Autosure Insurance products to be sold through Heartland’s MARAC consumer intermediary network.

Westpac, miners weigh on market: ASX closes 0.3% lower

12 Nov 2019 - The local market has extended an early decline today with 6 out of 10 sectors finishing lower. Shares in Jumbo Interactive (ASX:JIN) jumped as much as 9 per today to $22.14 after it revealed the £5.0 million (A$9.1m) acquisition of UK lottery merchant Gatherwell.

Healthcare sector leads the day: ASX closes 0.7% higher

11 Nov 2019 - It has been a positive day of trade for the ASX, the local bourse managed to close 0.7% higher. Shares in Fortescue Metals (ASX:FMG) took a dip today. Perenti Global (ASX:PRN) shares continue to fall as operations at the Boungou mine in Burkina Faso remain suspended. Vmoto (ASX:VMT) have seen their shares rise after they released details of the launch of two new electric scooters.

Trump says no to reducing Chinese tariffs: ASX poised to open higher

11 Nov 2019 - Wall Street continued their gains towards the end of the week, now the ASX looks set to start the week higher. Stocks rose on the optimism that President Donald Trump could scrap tariffs on Chinese goods. Trump says he has not agreed to roll back tariffs. Integral Diagnostics (ASX:IDX) has completed the acquisition of Imaging Queensland.
