Retail earnings support market rally: US lithium stocks struggle across the globe

16 Nov 2022 - Elsewhere, retail stocks also lifted investor sentiment. Walmart shares jumped on a bumper third quarter. The retail giant said that sales were up nearly 9 percent from a year ago, as shoppers flocked to cheaper groceries and other items; shares advanced just over 6.5 per cent. Despite the market rally lithium companies were lower with Lithium America down 3.5 per cent, Albemarle 6.5 per cent lower and Livent falling 6.8 per cent.

10 Nov 2022 - All eyes were on the midterm US election results overnight as Joe Biden and the Democrats have avoided sweeping defeats but still risk losing control of Congress to the Republicans after election results showed Americans are unwilling to hand a strong political mandate to either party.
