Tabcorp advised by the AFP that it has closed the Cambodia matter
Tabcorp (ASX:TAH) has been advised today by the Australian Federal Police that it has closed its investigation into the Cambodian matter.
hey were investigating business dealings by Tabcorp in Cambodia in 2009, when Elmer Funke Kupper was chief executive.
He resigned within a week of Tabcorp confirming that it was being investigated for a $200,000 payment made in 2009 to the family of Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen.
Tabcorp has co-operated with the AFP throughout the investigation and welcomes the conclusion of this matter.
Shares in Tabcorp (ASX:TAH) are trading 0.2 per cent higher at $4.78.
